  We have been going here for decades. Always delicious. Best brisket around here. After you eat, its a good idea to leave with a pie and a whole chicken to go. The staff is tip top too. The atmosphere is perfect for a BBQ joint. Makes me want to get a trailer mounted smoker to park on my street front. Brisket only. This ares needs more than one good brisket place.

  This place has a very long history, my parents would come here in high school. The BBQ is great, good smoke flavor. If you have a large party of 4 or more, there's an all you can eat option. Love the side dishes, great portion sizes. You shouldn't leave hungry!

  I would not recommend going to Swinging Door for BBQ. Good BBQ should be enjoyable without sauce; I had to slather the brisket in sauce to finish it. I highly suspect they use the Texas crutch and cook it in the oven for most of the process as its texture betrayed it. Salad was unremarkable (store-bought cheap shredded cheese)

  Great BBQ spot in Houston and a hidden gem! However I would rate it as the world's best, however they are consistent and the service, price and the turkey is what makes this place a spot when I am in the area. I will continue to come back for more and recommends to others. Get the turkey it is outstanding!
